eXtension will be celebrating International Working Out Loud Week from November 16-23. Working Out Loud at its most basic level is about making your work visible for others to observe and contribute to it in a way that benefits everyone involved. It enhances the creative process, shortens innovation cycles, builds trust, and reduces surprises. When you work in a more open and connected way it fosters greater ideation, collaboration, and organizational learning.

So how exactly do you Work Out Loud?  It sounds easier than it actually is. To help you explore this new way of working eXtension is offering two new learning opportunities to commemorate International Working Out Loud Week:

  1. On November 18 at 3p Eastern we’ll be conducting a webinar, An Introduction to Working Out Loudthat will explain the basics of Working Out Loud and its benefits. This webinar is designed to get you started on your journey to working differently in more open and connected ways. Everyone is welcome.
  2. In addition, we will be forming several “Working Out Loud Learning Circles” for those wanting to take their understanding to the next level. Learning circles are designed to work with small groups of people organized to help each participant achieve an individual goal, build a network of relationships, and to make Working Out Loud a habit. The learning circles require a commitment of one hour a week for 12 weeks. The space for these circles is limited and they are first-come-first-served. If you’re interested in taking your work-life to the next level you can sign-up here:  Working Out Loud Learning Circle.

If you have questions about either of these learning opportunities please post them here. If you’re already Working Out Loud please consider sharing your experiences. We’d love to hear your story!
