ECOP/eXtension to Host Extension Futures National Action Dialogues, July 13th or 14th, 1 PM – 3 PM ET – The purpose of the Action Dialogue is to imagine near-future possibilities for how Extension can better serve individuals and communities in the face of evolving needs and capabilities. The outcome of this dialogue will support transitional aspects of more digital engagement and community platforms, and inform the need for funding of infrastructure/equipment needed for the envisioned futures. More info & registration available here

The Farm Journal Story Lead Contest continues for the month of July! Thank you for the wonderful submissions for both May and June. For this month’s Cooperative Extension feature, Farm Journal’s Trust In Food wants to hear from your county/state/region about how Extension is empowering farmers to maximize their use of data, equipment, and precision technology – especially as it relates to farm profitability, environmental impact, or innovation. Learn more here about the contest and how you can get published in Farm Journal.

Conducting Market Research for Extension Programs: Nebraska Extension’s Weather Ready Farms: Join us for a webinar on July 16th, 2 PM – 3 PM! As part of eXtension’s New Technologies for Agricultural Extension (NTAE) Year 1 Cooperative Agreement with USDA-NIFA, the eXtension Foundation partnered with a Nebraska Extension program called Weather Ready Farms to help accelerate their program implementation and impact. This project received direct support from a third-party marketing firm specializing in agriculture to conduct market research into the target audience and create a marketing & communication plan. This webinar will discuss these findings, methods, key takeaways, and how this market research will be used to further this project. Learn more & register here
